Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) CRN
supports the dietary supplement industry, especially the manufacturers and brand name
marketers, and is very active in lobbying the government to not over-regulate the dietary
supplements and functional foods industry. [Suggestion and comment from David Mark]
Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (the DSHEA) [suggested by Dave
Corley]:

requirements for the identification of dietary supplements and for their nutrition
labeling and ingredient labeling in response to the Dietary Supplement Health and
Education Act of 1994 (the DSHEA).
