Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) CRN supports the dietary supplement industry, especially the manufacturers and brand name marketers, and is very active in lobbying the government to not over-regulate the dietary supplements and functional foods industry.  [Suggestion and comment from David Mark]

Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (the DSHEA) [suggested by Dave Corley]:

    •  Food Labeling The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending its food labeling regulations to establish requirements for the identification of dietary supplements and for their nutrition labeling and ingredient labeling in response to the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (the DSHEA).
